Two Faced Shadow Insurance Versus Urban Decay Primer Potion

Hello ladies, how are you? I hope your well. Today I'm going to be a product face off you could say. I'm going to be telling you my thoughts on Two faced's Shadow Insurance and Urban Decay's Primer Potion. Okay so let's get started!

Urban Decay Primer Potion (New Packaging)

Urban Decay Primer Potion (Old Packaging)

So lets start off with Urban Decay's Primer Potion. Now I love Urban Decay Shadows their all I really use but this eye primer just didn't do it for me. It seemed very thick and has a dry formula. When I applied it I found it left my eyelids looking dry and it really wasn't nice look at all. However I do have dry skin so that could be the reason. I don't have oily lids at all but on someone with oily lids I think this would be amazing. It did make my eye shadow last and stop it from creasing but it made my eye shadow look very dry and flaky. Another thing to note is they have changed the packaging which I am so happy about. Their old packaging was nice to look at, but the wand wasn't my cuppa tea. I love the new squeeze tube and I think you get more product out compared to the old packaging plus its more hygienic. I wouldn't repurchase this again but I would recommend it if you have oily lids and find your eye makeup slides around or just doesn't last.

Two Faced Shadow Insurance

Now onto Two faced Shadow Insurance, this is my go to primer. I love it. It does exactly what it says, it stops my shadow creasing. My eye shadow lasts all day and looks just as vibrant when I'm taking it off as it did when I first applied it. Its a silicone primer which feels nice on my eyelids unlike the UD Primer Potion which sets matt and leaves my lids feeling tight and uncomfortable. I have tried this on my friend who has oily skin and it worked just as good on her as it did on me. I would really recommend this if you on the hunt for a good eye shadow primer.

So that's it ladies thank you for reading! Give me your thoughts on how I can improve my blog? Cheers and take care!!

Slán,

Simple Skincare Review

I have been trying out some Simple product the last month and I have to say I'm impressed. People were always recommending I try them because I have sensitive skin and their products eliminate anything that will irritate your skin. Down below I have giving my thoughts on each product.

Firstly I picked up the Simple kind to skin refreshing facial wash gel. It is a clear gel and has a slight tea tree scent to it but is bearly noticeable. A little of this goes a long way. It lathers really well for a soap free product and it doesn't burn my eyes or irritate my skin. It left my skin feeling super clean and soft as a babies bottom. It wasn't drying at all. I highly recommend this if you have sensitive skin. It only costs €4.99, what a bargain!

The second product I picked up was the Simple kind to skin replenishing rich moisturiser (wow what a mouthful). This is a white cream that's not too thick it resembles the texture of E45 face cream. I really enjoyed this moisturiser. It left my skin hydrated all day and it gives a lovely healthy glow to bare skin. I also love this under my makeup as I have used Oilatum for a long time but I found that later in the day it was making my foundation look oily but with this that doesn't happen. It left my skin feeling baby soft. It doesn't have a scent and did not irritate my skin. I bought this at Boots for €4.89.

The last product I picked up was the Simple Repair Anti-Wrinkle eye cream. I don't have wrinkles yet but I do have some really annoying fine lines from lack of sleep. So I thought I would get the Anti-Wrinkle eye cream to try prevent more. However they do have a normal eye cream and they also have a soothing eye roll on. This eye cream however has a light cream coloured cream. It hydrates under the eyes really well. As for my fine lines I have noticed no difference but then again I have only being using it for a month. I find my concealer applies better with this underneath. Overall I really like this eye cream. It hydrates well and that all I want it to do. As well as having sensitive skin I have sensitive eyes and a lot of eye creams sting my eyes or make my eyes water, this did not do that. A little goes along way so you will get your moneys worth from one tube. I bought this for €12.29 at Boots.

Over all I would recommend you try Simple out. They have a wide range of skincare products for all ages. I for sure will be trying more of their products.

Thanks for reading :) xx

Products Ive been loving!

Here are some of the products I have been loving and could not live without.

My first product has got to be my Oilatum natural repair face cream. I simply love this stuff! I have dry/commination skin, and I always struggled to get a moisturiser that was not only rich enough to not only keep my skin hydrated but that was gentle on my skin. I have very sensitive skin and alot of things irritate it. Oilatum however does everything I want it to effortlessly. Also I only need a tiny amount for my face and neck, so one tube last ages. Its also a really good base for makeup once you let it sink in for a bit (however I have applied my makeup straight away and its always been fine but throughout the day I find myself getting shiny). I find even without using makeup it gives my skin a nice glow, but not greasy looking. The only thing I wish it had SPF. As I like to protect my face from the sun but sure you cant have everything. I pay €11.98 in my local boots for a tube of this and it lasts me almost a month, I use it morning and night.

The next product I have been loving is yet another Oilatum product. Its the Oilatum Junior Cream, which is suitable for children, babies and adults. Its a thick cream and its alot like the face cream. Its extremely hydrating which I need as I do get eczema on my body. I use this after every shower all over my body, including feet. It stops the itchiness I often get if a moisturiser isn't rich enough. I have tried E45 but I find oilatum is better and I have never had a flare up while using it. I paid €9.71 in my local chemist for this and it lasts me a month. So its pretty long lasting and goes along way considering I shower ever second day and use this after every shower. I really recommend this if you too suffer from eczema or just have dry skin, it really has changed my skin. It now feels smooth and silky like a babies bottom.

The last product I have been loving is actually my favourite face wash of all time. Its the Boots Tea Tree and witch hazel foaming face wash. Ive been using this for months and I cant be without it now. It takes of my makeup so quick and I only use two pumps, one for removing my makeup and the the second just too make sure Ive got every last bit off my face. It doesn't sting my eyes or irritate my skin. I love the smell and I like the fact that it has tea tree and witch hazel in it. Also it doesn't dry me out which alot of facial washes do. Its almost always on offer for 3 for 2. I really recommend you give this a try.

So now that's the products I have been loving. I hope you liked this blog post and if you'd like to see more like it let me know. Or give me advice on how to improve my blog let me know. Any advice is always welcomed. Thank you for your time and I hope you are having a great day no matter where in the world you. Take care xoxox

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundtion Review (New Packaging)

Hia Ladies! Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation.

Packaging:
Bourjois has recently repackaged their Healthy Mix Foundation. It now has a glass bottles. I personally preferred the plastic container as it was lighter in my makeup bag, although the glass bottle isn't heavy.

Shade/formula/coverage/tone:
I found the shade range to be very bad for fair skinned ladies. It only has a few shades and they cater more to darker skin tones. Shade 51 is the lightest shade and for me that's even too dark and very yellow based. For reference I would be a NW10 in mac. I would say this foundation has light coverage but can be built to medium. Its a dream to blend and doesn't take a lot of work which is great if your in a hurry.

Longevity:
It claims to give 16 hours wear but I found that four ours in it started to wear around my mouth. But everywhere else it lasted well. I have very dry/combination skin so I wouldn't recommend this to someone with oily skin unless you are going to set it as it wouldn't be that long lasting.

Smell:
It has a fruity smell, but it goes away once applied. Its not a terrible smell and I actually quite liked it.

Skin Reactions:
I had no breakouts from this and I do have sensitive skin so I was happy with that.

Overall I wouldn't repurchase this myself. I didn't really enjoy it. Simply because I'm so pale and it didn't match and also I prefer a fuller coverage foundation. But I would say give this a go if you like light coverage and are looking for a yellow toned foundation.

Have a good day where ever you are and most of all remember your beautiful :) :) xoxoxoxoxox

Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation Review

Last week I decided to try the Rimmel True Match Perfection Foundation because Tanya Burr Recommended it in her last video. She applied it on camera and I liked how it covered her few blemishes and when I went online and searched the shade range I was delighted to see they had a very light shade called Light Porcelain. As I am super pale I struggle a lot in finding a shade to match me. So down below is my thoughts on this Foundation. I hope it's helpful :)

Colour range:
I would say it had a fair colour range, that was suit pale to darker skins.

Is it easy to apply?
Yes I would say this is an easy foundation to apply. I have used many different brushes and it applied fine with each one.

Coverage:
I would say that this a medium coverage foundation, you would need a concealer if you had any blemishes to hide.

How does the foundation wear throughout the day?
I have to say this foundation is certainly not a long lasting foundation, I got four good hours wear out of this foundation. After the fourth hour I noticed that it does fade away from around the mouth and nose. I had set it with a powder and I have dry skin.

Does it transfer?
Yes if I touched my face it would leave a finger mark or it would slide off and I did use a primer underneath along with a powder over top. It also transferred onto my clothing.

Does it have a scent?
Yes this foundation does have a perfume scent and its strong when it's been applied but it goes away once it has been applied. It's not an unpleasant smell but for those who are sensitive to fragranced products I would suggest to stay away from this foundation.

What does it look like on the skin?
For me having dry skin I didn't notice this clinging to dry patches but it left my pores very noticeable. It has a semi matt finish. So it leaves your skin looking sort of with a JLO glow. However I wouldn't recommend this to those with oily skin as it wouldn't last at all. Also the I got the palest shade and it was very pinked toned.

Would I recommend this foundation:
I wouldn't recommend it, but in saying that I would say give it a try if you have the money. After all just because it didn't work for me doesn't mean it wouldn't look amazing on you.

Thanks for reading! I love reading and replying to your comments so feel free to leave me some!
